Dear Conway Scenic Railroad

My family and I recently completed your Sunset Dinner tour, and I would like to compliment you for this fabulously expensive experience. We all learned many things when dining on board your moving railroad. For instance:

-- in the heyday of the rail car, the average person was clearly much smaller than today's average person. Or, you have installed too many tables in your dining car. One or the other.

--your train evidently pre-dates the invention of shock absorbers.

--the word 'scenic' means different things to different people. To me, it means that there are things to see out the window that I could not otherwise see easily were I not on board your train. For example, a 'scenic' tour shouldn't just involve a bunch of trees and several street intersections. My daughter offered her own definition of 'scenic' as meaning 'slow.' This might be closer to your own definition.

--a gas will always move from a high pressure environment to a low pressure environment, until both environments are pressurized equally. The scientific term is equilibrium. We learned about equilibrium when someone left open the bathroom door in the dining car.

Again, thank you for the exciting learning experience.

Sincerely,

Gene Doucette
