Finally! I was SO sick of this story for SO long.

Hey! What the fuck?

Now, playing third base...
They say they're going to play A-Rod at third base and keep Derek Jeter at shortstop. A-Rod is head-and-shoulders above Jeter at shortstop, and more, is one of the best defensive shortstops in the game. Either someone who doesn't know very much about baseball is making that statement (and Torre will correct it later) or the Yankees are being very stupid.

Regardless, it's refreshing to see the Red Sox going into the year with superior pitching to the Yankees for the first time in... well, I can't remember when that ever happened. I'm not sure it ever did before. We're usually the ones picking up the Manny Ramirezes while they snatch up the Mike Mussinas.

Go out and celebrate... the Presidents... or something. Actually, what is one supposed to do on Presidents' Day? Buy a car, I guess.
