Seriously, does he actually think this is the way the world works? That major corporations that are supposed to maximize their own profits would willingly do something other than that, all by themselves? Because he told them it's probably a good idea?

In other news: a wedding
Wife Deb and I are attending a wedding this weekend, which you might not think of as a big deal except A: we never seem to find time to go out nowadays and B: we're almost entirely out of single friends, so this may be the last one we get to go to for a long time. Should be fun. The bride-- our connection to the ceremony-- is an Irish import. You think maybe there'll be some alcohol at the reception?
