This is the most loaded team the Patriots have had in seven years which, let's keep in mind, was seven years in which they won three Superbowls. All they were missing was a "no respect" chip. Granted, they are very good at manufacturing these all by themselves. But now, thanks to what was a serious overreaction to "Spygate" (and OH. MY. GOD.) they don't have to manufacture anything. And thiis was a serious overreaction. Just take a look at the columns posted over the past few days at SI.com, if you dare. (They're the ones with the big-ass 'SPYGATE' header.) The headlines alone leaves me wondering if perhaps Bill Belichick raped someone when I wasn't paying attention. Wait, I've seen this show before The new fall TV show Moonlight is about a private detective in Los Angeles who is a vampire. Great idea: let's re-create Angel, gang! Only without that pesky Joss Whedon! Because that way it will totally not suck! In related news, all the descriptions I've heard for the seriocomic new show Reaper sound like a direct shot at the Buffy the Vampire Slayer demographic. It's like they want these shows back or something.
Comments:
dude. They cheated. You know dang well if Indy had been on the other side, and THEY'D have had a camera on Bill B? You'd have a match & lighter fluid, and be fanning the fire under Dungy's butt.
Dungy's Butt. Now i feel dirty.
I don't think that's true at all, Anthony. I know they cheated, but this reaction is obscenely over the top. I had no idea how deep the hatred for the Patriots and Belichick ran.
Should we take away the Denver superbowl wins because Shanahan has been coaching his offensive line to illegally cut-block to open holes for his runners? He's been doing that shit for two decades now, and when someone gets hurt there's a hue and cry and then it dies down and we all move on. That will happen here too. But until then, you can't tell me part of the outcry had to do with the fact that Bill Belichick is despised by a wide range of the media.
oh, well then, we're good.

From your posts, I had figured you were saying that "it wasn't cheating," which is completely different than "they cheated, but they didn't kill anyone," which I can totally agree with. I think even my teams have done things I'd be "Ashamed" of if I was a fanatic follower. It happens. dammit.
