The Other Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook

HOW TO SURVIVE ON THE MOON

Finding oneself stranded on the moon for any length of time can be perilous indeed. Since the moon has no atmosphere, breathing is highly unlikely. The dark side of the moon is extraordinarily cold. On the sunny side, since there is no ozone layer, the sun, while keeping you warm, will fry you with unblocked ultraviolet radiation. Your focus should be on getting the hell off the moon as soon as you possibly can. This is not a place to camp out overnight.

You will need:

-- A functional space suit
-- A large supply of oxygen in sealed containers

(Note: both items are difficult to obtain. Shop around. We recommend always keeping your suit and oxygen tanks in the trunk of your car, so that you can gain quick access to them in the lunar environment. Also please note, an internal combustion engine will not function on the moon.)...
